Everyone needs a HOME!

Caring Workplaces partners with Recovery Resources TN to open a new house in Carter County! This is their first house in Carter County and can house 12 men.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on March 6, 2024, to celebrate this achievement!

Caring Workplaces is excited to partner with Recovery Resources TN to support all their house members as they navigate their lives and employment within our communities. We couldn't be prouder to see what the future holds for them!

Caring Workplaces (CW) is a U.S. DOL-funded, regional recovery-to-work program whose mission it is to recruit, train, and certify businesses and organizations to become “recovery friendly” and build out the regional recovery workforce ecosystem. In addition, we have created a nontraditional pipeline of employees made up of CW clients from the recovery and or justice-involved communities. These clients receive peer support from a certified Peer Recovery Specialist and are navigated to individualized wrap-around services, work readiness and employment with a CW employer.

Executive Director, Tabitha Edwards, was on hand to greet everyone who came out to celebrate and tour the beautiful new house. Congratulations to you all!
