We are excited to announce that Scott Vaughn, our Caring Workplaces Employer Coordinator, has been elected as the new pastor of the Orebank Missionary Baptist Church.
Sweet in that Scott is following his call and doing what he feels God has led him to do. He will be excellent in this role and we certainly congratulate him.

Now for the bitter part……..Scott will be sorely missed. His talents and diverse skills have made him an invaluable member of the Caring Workplaces team. He successfully grew our employer base and built important relationships that have helped Caring Workplaces to grow even further. In addition, Scott graciously accompanied the Caring Workplaces team on our tour across the state of TN, delivering Caring Workplaces trainings to all 9 workforce boards. On our WORC 5 grant when WIPS was introduced, he was one of the first to figure out how to use this new system and even helped other grantees across the nation by lending technical WIPS advice. AND in the past year, he has begun proctoring NCRC tests. Scott is a rock star and has brought so much value to the Caring Workplaces program. Scott, you WILL BE MISSED! Thank you for being part of our “Caring Workplaces family” and for your out of the box thinking and your amazing attitude and willingness to always step in and do “that other thing!”
“ Always leave a place better than when you arrived!” And to that, we say “JOB WELL DONE, Scott!”
