Omar Awning Co. began in 1986 as a result of a great need in the area for both residential and commercial awnings. Since the start of their company, they have expanded their business to include signs and graphics. Omar is a family-owned and operated business. It is owned by Ed and Susan Snowden who originally started the company. Son Bo Bennett serves as General Manager, son Billy Bennett as Operations Assistant and granddaughter Savannah Larkins as Office Manager. Son-in-law, Tim Young is the Graphic Design Manager and family friend, Gordon Bulla is the Production Manager.
