When an employer agrees to become a certified Caring Workplace, they become a part of an ecosystem of support with access to a pipeline of fully supported and work ready individuals from the recovery and/or justice involved communities.  In addition, they gain access to resources customized to their specific workforce needs.  Employers will be assigned a Caring Workplaces Employer Coordinator who will guide them throughout the certification process and work alongside leadership within a company, to identify any additional workforce needs. This partnership results in an employer being fully supported and equipped to handle issues of substance use and or mental health challenges within their workforce.  Caring Workplaces staff will work hand and hand to help match needs of an employer to viable resources within their communities.  This partnership will result in a more caring and supportive work culture and in turn, the company gains a more healthy and productive workforce.
